sixer and seconder camp

Our final cub camp of the year took place on a wet weekend in September at the Earleywood site near Ascot .  The theme was the “Wild West” and the cubs took part in a number of themed activities over the weekend including rifle shooting, broncho riding and gold panning. We all went home muddy and tired, but had  a fantastic weekend.

Cubs and Scouts attend PGL

Fifty Cubs and Scouts from 1st/4th Addlestone and 5th Addlestone Scout Groups went to Osmington Bay, Weymouth at the beginning of September for a weekend of fun and adventurous activities.  Over the weekend you could find us raft building and quad biking as well as taking part in archery, shooting, a low ropes obstacle course, a zip wire and a giant swing. Everyone had a great time and learned some new skills – including how to tie knots!

Jumble Sale – Thank You

Saturday 2nd September 2017

Thank you to everyone who made Saturdays Jumble sale another great sucess raising a massive £1200 for group funds.  This includes people unknown who kindly donate the much wanted jumble, the team who set up during the week, the selling team, the clear up team and not forgetting our most valuable and generous customers.
